New Roof!

So, out of the blue, they showed up this morning to put the new roof on the husband's office! It's just across the street from our house and you know what that means, right? Right. No street.

The construction workers have been building dirt driveways to all the other people's houses on the other side of the street each night, but for some reason, they haven't bothered to put anything to the alleyway that serves as access to the office.

Apparently it's not really making much difference, though. The forklift with all the shingles has been baha-ing over the curbs and through the mud with no problems.

Now we just need to hope that the radar is correct and there won't be any rain until late this afternoon. Even though it's really, really cloudy today. Faith in technology, faith in technology...
